WHAT'S IN IT

Ingredients: botanical infusion of lemon balm (Melissa officinalis, leaves) in artisanal olive oil, beeswax, this essential oil of sweet orange (Citrus sinensis).

All the botanical parts we use come from plants that grow on our land in an eco-conscious way.

Olive oil is rich in vitamin E and A, oleic acids and polyphenols, is anti-inflammatory, it helps fighting free radicals, protects the skin and makes it softer. The one we use is produced by us, see more information here.

Beeswax is rich in fatty acids and vitamin A, it nourishes the skin and helps to naturally maintain its elasticity. The one we use is ethically collected by beekeepers close to the Tagus Natural park in the region of Idanha-a-Nova.

BOTANICAL POWER

Lemon balm is well known as a calming plant, but it is also a powerful source of antioxidants with many benefits for the skin. Its extracts are rich in natural bioactive compounds such as citronellal, caffeic acid and rosmarinic acid, which play an important role in eliminating viruses and bacteria and contribute to a clean and healthy skin. More specifically, lemon balm has been widely studied for its potential in the treatment and prevention of lesions caused by cold sores.

Sweet orange essential oil is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-fungal. It has a comforting and uplifting aroma, soothes and protects the skin.

SUGGESTION OF USE

Apply liberally as often as needed.

This balm has been specially developed to help relieving the discomfort of lips affected by blisters, painful ulcers, redness, swelling and other symptoms of infection, but it can also be used simply as a moisturizer to keep the lips soft and protected.

To preserve its natural durability, it should be kept in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or other heat sources and applied with clean and dry hands.
