WHAT'S IN IT

Ingredients: botanical infusions of calendula (Calendula officinalis, petals) and ribwort plantain (Plantago lanceolata, leaves) in artisanal olive oil, beeswax.

All the botanical parts we use come from plants that grow on our land in an eco-conscious way.

Olive oil is rich in vitamin E and A, oleic acids and polyphenols, is anti-inflammatory, it helps fighting free radicals, protects the skin and makes it softer. The one we use is produced by us, see more information here.

Beeswax is rich in fatty acids and vitamin A, it nourishes the skin and helps to naturally maintain its elasticity. The one we use is ethically collected by beekeepers close to the Tagus Natural park in the region of Idanha-a-Nova.

BOTANICAL POWER

Extracts of calendula are well known for the topical treatment of inflamed conditions of all kinds, particularly on sensitive, dry and cracked skin. The plant is rich in natural anti-inflammatory flavonoids, carotenoids, essential oils and sterols that help to reduce skin irritation.

Plantain contains allantoin, aucubin and tannins, naturally produced bioactive compounds that also help with tissue repair and with the reduction of pain and discomfort by creating a protective layer on damaged skin while healing it.

SUGGESTION OF USE

Apply liberally as often as needed.

This balm has been specially developed to help keeping the more sensitive lips moisturized, reducing their dryness and supporting the healing of cracks, cuts and wounds, but it can also be used simply to keep the lips soft and protected.

To preserve its natural durability, it should be kept in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or other heat sources and applied with clean and dry hands.
