WHAT'S IN IT

Ingredients: botanical infusion of French lavender (Lavandula stoechas, flowers and leaves) and eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus, leaves) in artisanal olive oil, beeswax, this essential oil of French lavender (Lavandula stoechas), this one of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) and this one of Portuguese cypress (Cupressus lusitanica).

All the botanical parts we use come from plants that grow on our land in an eco-conscious way.

Olive oil is rich in vitamin E and A, oleic acids and polyphenols, is anti-inflammatory, it helps fighting free radicals, protects the skin and makes it softer. The one we use is produced by us, see more information here.

Beeswax is rich in fatty acids and vitamin A, it nourishes the skin and helps to naturally maintain its elasticity. The one we use is ethically collected by beekeepers close to the Tagus Natural park in the region of Idanha-a-Nova.

BOTANICAL POWER

French lavender is one of the lavender species with a higher camphor content, so its extracts can help the treatment of various respiratory problems, including the unclogging of the nose, relief of chest congestion and elimination of lung secretions. Because it has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, it can also promote the relief of muscle pain caused by prolonged cough and difficult breathing, as well as of the congestion and discomfort related to sinusitis.

Eucalyptus extracts are well known for their antiviral, antimicrobial and decongestant properties. Its essential oils have been particularly used for the treatment of colds, coughs and other inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract such as asthma and bronchitis. These oils are mainly composed of cineol, also known as eucalyptol, which has a camphor-like aroma and a refreshing effect.

The combination of the very aromatic essential oils of French lavender, eucalyptus and Portuguese cypress stimulates a relaxed breathing and helps nasal decongestion. The essential oil of the Portuguese cypress in particular is a sedative for the respiratory nerve endings and can help clear nasal sinuses and stuffy nose, with the added advantage of being a very effective antibacterial agent.

SUGGESTION OF USE

Apply liberally as often as needed, in particular on the chest, back and nose area.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not apply on babies or children under 6 years of age.

To preserve its natural durability, it should be kept in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or other heat sources and applied with clean and dry hands.
